I know that this is probally a really stupid question but I'm just after setting up my home studio after a long couple of months.
I'm using cakewalk with a Behringer XENYX1204fx mixer and an Audiophile 2496 sound card.
I have at the moment two mics going from the mixer into the sound card, when recording they both go through the same track, as in I cannot split the bass from the guitar etc., so I cant mix them seperately, this is obviously a very easy thing to solve but I'm a complete noob. How do I record with multiple tracks in Sonar, with each mic feed going through a different track.
