Mar 26, 2008 10:41 pm lol, this is where most may stop. I need the music to be like 1930's big band swing, or any type of moody orchestral thing. I can do this myself, but I want to assemble a team and work on this. I know many heads are much greater than one.
If anyone is interested, I also will be needing voice actors.
The game is set in the 30's. Think like Dick Tracy / The Punisher / Vampires / 1930's Mafia / Nazis / WWII ... lol
Still interested?

Mar 26, 2008 11:04 pm From looking at the image The Punisher was the first thing that came to my mind.
Don't think I will have the time but if I do I'll let you know.

Mar 27, 2008 01:49 am Not quite what I need. I'm trying to stay either orchestral or music that sounds like it's from that era. But thx dude. I might use it it the credits or something. Great song!

Mar 27, 2008 08:31 am I'm interested; I like experimenting with new genres. (I just wish I had a midi controller for stuff like this)
I'll try to throw something together this weekend and see what I can come up with.

Mar 27, 2008 10:16 am I know that HRC frequenter Walt has some big band recordings (great ones, too). You might want to hit him up to see if any of his recordings are available for such a project.
Also Colonel Sanders has done some orchestral recordings but again I'm not sure as to the availability of his recordings.

The guy that did the voice for my HRC promo (in my music area) would probably be available. We get a kick out of spinoff projects like this.
How much would there be? like done in an afternoon? or is there like days and days of reading?
I wish I had more time to do some actual scoring / writing, but I know I don't have time for that. Voice parts we can probably do.
If you wanna shoot me/us a sample scene, we can do a quick demo, and get it to you.

Apr 07, 2008 12:16 pm 30's era was mainly Jazz in the Americas yes? Some classical stuff would be quite popular also. I played the game "mafia" and loved the tunes in it. I don't have alot of tools available to me for a big band sound but I can sure as heck try.
