Hi there. Once i've finished doing my audio tracks and it sounds ok, I then export to Audio Mixdown. but then when playing it back through Windows Media Player or something the mixdown sounds horrible: Very trebly and boomy. Anybody else had the same problem? Why doesn't the mix sound the same once mixed down?
Thanks very much!!!

Mar 26, 2008 05:20 pm I'm not really following you, in that I've never had a cubase mix down sound different than I expected. Try looking at your EQ settings of media player, or try another player and see if maybe that's the problem is about the only thing I can come up with right now.

Mar 26, 2008 10:59 pm I gotta chime in with Loki. I would look at the media player. It is true that what you hear is not what you get from Cubase if you have plug-ins involved, but the difference is extreamly slight. For most inaudable. Definately not boomy or trebly. More like a subtle nuance of a ride or something like that.
