PLEASE HELP !
I have installed the software and gone in to Cubase.
The problem is that I can Record with a dynamic mic but cannot get a peep out of the Rode mic.
I know it needs phantom power which the 0404 is supposedly supplying.
I have tried on 2 laptops, one on Vista the other on XP Pro with the same result. An ideas please....Driving me crazy.
Thanks

Make sure that you're actually activating the phantom power when you're using the Rode. There's a big switch on the face of the unit that says "48V On". Make sure that switch is engaged.

One important tip: NEVER plug or unplug any mic while the phantom power is engaged! ALWAYS disable phantom power before connecting or disconnecting mics from your interface.

Are you using an external power supply for the 404? I don't think it can supply enough power without it via USB only.

Another thought is that if you are using a USB hub or one of the front ports that also may not supply enough juice to power it up.
