Amplitube with Cubase, Easy Question. Help!

Hey all,

Kinda stupid, basic question, but I'm new to both Cubase SX3 and Amplitube 2.
I know how to add the amplitube insert, and hear it on playback as well as while monitoring during recording. But for some reason, when I save the session, and play back the recorded .wav file in another program (winamp), it's just a clean signal guitar, with none of the amplitube effects over it.
How do I get cubase to automatically save the amplitube effect AS the .wav file?

Thanks.

Probably a 'render' or 'mixdown'.

Something like that.

During mixing, you're not ready to make a 'final' print of the song, so the song is still flexible. Rendering (mixdown) prints the file as it sounds.

I'm not sure about Cubase SX, but in SE there are 2 checkboxes on the Export->Mixdown... dialog box. One checkbox is labelled "effects/automation", make sure that is checked before you mix down. That should apply all of your VST effects and any track automation to the final .wav file.

yeah you're going to need to mixdown with the effects track. Make sure nothing is armed to record, and then set your left and right indicators for the portion that you want to export, then file, export, audio mixdown. Once that is done you'll have the track with the effects applied (or the whole song)
