Feb 21, 2008 03:45 pm I watched the old ones, just because it was before the time of cable, and living in the sticks meant very little to watch on TV.
I read a maxim article on the old bunch, and man, what a trip. drugs, sex, etc. were quite the norm.
I saw one of the new ones a few weeks ago, can't say as I was overly drawn to watch it more, what with spongebob being on =).
Feb 21, 2008 03:49 pm Yeah, it's the same challnges as the old, same format, so it's the same thing, the guys are big ol' muscleheads, the girls are hotties...I saw Crush pull a couple moves on somebody and just by what she did I thought she HAD to have some training, so I looked into it and sure enough, LOTS of training...she's the real deal.
"Toa" is the brother of "The Rock", Titan is a pretty boy...a big one, but a pretty boy none the less.
Me and my kid just have fun watching it...good parental bonding with my girl watching AG and ultimate fighting...I'm raising her right!

Those games may look like fluff a bit but damn, the Gauntlet and the Eliminator would be hella tough...the ring hanging one probably would be too.

Feb 22, 2008 11:35 pm I watched a couple of the episodes. I thought that that guy Justice was a little over the top. On the Gauntlet, he is suppose to stop when the contender crosses the gray line. But, it just looks as if he just enjoys punishing the contender for the hell of it.
