Getting glue off the walls!

Ok so a while back i glued my auralex foam to my walls. i took it off and it left like parts of it stuck on the walls. I repainted my room, in hopes that the paint would cover the marks it left... It didnt. I tried sanding the stuff off and using products like "Goo off" but it really had no effect. Can anybody Offer a solution? I took a picture of the marks:

scrape/sand it off and Spackle...sand the spackel... then repaint...

Yep Zek's got it right, any thing that would take it off is going to take the texture and probably some of the paper off the sheetrock with it.
