I just bought an Alesis IO26 and im trying to run it with Sonar 6 PE I also have the 6.2 patch. When I use the ASIO driver Sonar only see's tracks 1,3,5,7 it dosent see the even tracks. When I use the WDKM drivers the program becomes very unstable and the audio either drops or the computer will restart complety. The cpu usage will never go above 2% I run the buffer at 128, I have the newest Alesis driver, And the computer is about 4 times above the recommended specs (windows xp-sp2 based). The cubase LE software that came with the interface works fine...any ideas?

This is somewhat of a shot in the dark here, but are all your tracks set up to record in stereo, so perhaps it's showing each as a stereo ganged set? Perhaps set a track to mono and see if all eight show?
Failing that (which, like I said, is a real shot in the dark) I'd suggest contacting support since you have the newest of everything...

Feb 14, 2008 09:50 pm I have to add that I have seen driver sets that follow that odd numbered sequence for stereo pairs.
You can find out if that is what is happening by setting up a stereo track to record and then selecting the number 1 to see if it indeed records in stereo.
Some drivers do show that numbering as well but follow it with 1/L 1/R 2/L 2/R and so on.
