I've been finishing up a "trilogy." Here's the first mix. Mind you, it is long because it's 3 songs (14:25) so if you don't feel like listening to the whole song, that's cool. Just let me know what your thoughts are on the overall production and where you left off so i can gauge where I'm losing listeners.
Thanks.

Feb 03, 2008 12:11 am opensky, I didn't listen to every note as I skipped forward in the piece, but I checked each section. Good production.
The "old man" narrative is effective. Gets attention. The segue to the jazz waltz is good too. The spatial chorus on the guitars sounds nice.
Fine work. Let's hear more!

Feb 03, 2008 06:18 pm Well another great piece of music as expected from your past stuff. I'm with Herb on the narrative really grabing some attention and adding to the piece for sure. Very well thought out and arranged. I like the way everything moves along smoothly for sure. And indeed, the change of movement into the jazz bit was killer, sudden but smooth. And then returning to an interesting break. I have to say that ll the different movements really flowed together nicely. All those changes took some major planning I am sure.
I guess having head parts of it before it gives it a whole new life when assembled. Nicely done for sure.
