War tribute to my brother

My little brother has been serving faithfully for almost 6 years now in Iraq, and I came across this song, which I know was prolly written for a female, but in any instance, I would appreciate it if anyone would add this guys myspace to theirs. He inadvertently inscribed my feelings into one of his songs, and I think I've been so focused on our recent loss that I lost sight of the importance of life.

Please, if you have a moment, listen to the song, "Little Blue Mailbox," as it embodies my failures and triumphs over the last years, whether or not he got them.

It's an amazing song, and it's a home recorded song as well. This guy has well over 20 albums under his belt... he's been recording at home since the home DAW was plausible, and in turn a true inspiration to me for obvious, as well as aforementioned reasons.

Very cool, can't say much else. Nice surprise build up in there though.

I just like the perspective of the lyrics. I feel like pvt Joe wrote it while sitting in a tent. I sent it to the lyricist that is a band I am with, but I'm affraid he did not get it. He writes everything from his persective looking at things. Makes me crazy sometimes, but that is my baggage.
