I place an order....did I make the right decision?

Hey, I have been doing a quite a bit of research on a home studio vocal setup. My voice is medium-deep in tone and pretty aggressive, kind of a mix between dre and tech n9ne --anyways, kind of unusual. I am currently using a setup over at my buddies. Blue Baby bottle condenser mic going through a Focusrite Platinum pre and mixed in Nuendo.
We have been able to get some really good sounding results but I noticed that my current combo didn't always flatter my voice.

After reading multiple forums and reviews I placed an order for a new setup. I had to go with the Shure SM7B and the True Systems P-solo. From what I read, it sounds like it fits my style. I also grabbed a RME Hammerfall 9632 to interface it with my computer where I will be mixing in nuendo. I should be receiving my setup within the next couple of days, so I will let you know what I think. Until then take a jump over and listen to the track "fall in" -- I am on the first verse and it should give you a good idea on what my voice sounds like....did I make a good decision. www.myspace.com/shutdownproductions

Also, I live out in the middle of nowhere so I don't really have a chance to try any gear out in person --- just goin off online reviews Thanks

Well, the mic is more commonly found in broadcast situations I don't see why it wouldn't work for rap vocals. It is a very flat sounding mic which is good for broadcasters who wish to pump up their voice with other processor's.

AS for the other gear, good choices for sure. The RME might be a bit of overkill and you could have saved some scratch there but it all works.
