I Normally Record The Verse 3 Sepereate Times. I Pan One 100% Left, Another 100% Right, And The Last One Center..The Center Track Being Louder Then The Other Two..

But It Doesnt Sound Like The Tracks On The Radio..

Shoulda I Record The Track One Time And Then Just Adlib It? Leaveing Both Panned @ 0..?

Any Ideas Or Tips?

I do different things on different songs as far as verses go. But usually just have one take of the verse and then do the adlibs. I usually eq the adlibs slightly higher than the verse, and move them slightly off center, pan out to about 5 in either direction depending on the mix of the instrumental. The other thing I just tried that sounded pretty dope was making a copy of the adlibs and panning each one out to about 25 right and left so the adlibs fill out the stereo field when they hit. Mayby delay one of the adlib tracks by a couple milliseconds depending on the tempo of the beat.

Yep, I'm with coolo on not panning to hard out. It actually kind of distracts from the doubled vocals. Go into my profile and you can here a couple mixes that are pretty much straight up 5% panned left and right.
