Mixer+Humidity=problem

I've got a Behringer Xenyx 2222FX that I was using in a warehouse to do some drum recording (the mixer doubles as a USB recording interface) and apparently the godforsaken humidity of Southeast Texas got to it, so now my mixer makes horrible fuzz and static noise whenever I make recordings.

I used a hair dryer to try to dry up the XLR inputs, and it worked for about 10 minutes, then went back to it's static noise.

Help?

I guess to be honest I would open the case and have a look inside. It sounds like more then just good ol' Texas humidity is causing the problem.

I can tell you that my Behringer gear has survived some hazards. My old Desk had a coke spilled into the buss section while it was powered up. After a quick tear down and clean up it actually worked better then it had.

But indeed I would suggest if you are comfortable opening it up to have a look inside for any evidence of something burned or corroded.
