Sorry for the post. I put a link to one of my songs off my website, but for some reason it was at 2x speed . I will figure out what went wrong and repost later.

OK Here's a second try. I re-checked the song on the site and it plays fine.

I am new to this forum, but have been listening to the tunes here for a while now. Very good stuff. So, I thought I would sign up today and post one of my tunes on here for some feedback. The song is called "The Shoreline" that I wrote and recorded about 4 years ago. All feedback and criticism is most welcome.

EDIT: I took the link down. Still is playing at a faster speed than it should be. I think the bitrate is wrong. I will correct the problem (re-mix) and re-post.

OK. third times a charm as they say. Here it is again, at hopefully the correct speed :-)

Nicely done. I like the sound you got on the guitar track. The vocals as well are sitting pretty well in the mix. The drum machine track fits in nicely as well.

I kind of liked the trippy vocal effect you used. It added a little twist to and acoustic track for sure. The guitar solo tone and playing was great as well. I really liked the tone you got. Mind sharing the guitar and amp used for that? That as well fit in nicely with the track as well.

Welcome to HRC by the way.

I like this tune, but I've always been a sucker for minor keys. I would opt for an airier reverb setting on the vocal. Good balance otherwise.

Thanks for the positive feedback:-) , and thank you for the welcome. I used a fiends gear and recording equipment, as his gear is superior to the stuff I have. If I remember correctly, I used a 75 Les Paul and his Marshal amp. That combo gave a great sustain.
