hello, i have owned this unit for about year now. it is a xenyx 1204 it used to work well i am using sony acid pro 6. and i have tried it on sonar with the same problem i will state now.

when i bought the unit it worked fine but now after taking it to a live situation and running a mic into it and then the mixer to a p/a it will not longer record to my computer. it will send the singal out to headphones and i can see the wave being picked up sometimes on my programs but when i go to record i get nothing. i have the asio4all but that does nothing. i am very frustrated. i cant see how taking it to 1 practice session live it could be useless now through the usb. can anyone please help?>

Try un installing the drivers and then re installing them. That is a very problematic interface. If you look around with the search here you will see at least 15 or more threads with everyone having trouble with it. Mostly driver related.

i hear you man, and i have searched but it seems the mixer just wont send the signal to the program. very frustrating. ill re intsall and see what happens thanks

i uploaded the new asio4all beta 2.?? and now it recognizes my usb device but still it will not record. any suggestions? :( thanks

You may need to go back into the audio options or preferences in Acid and set it back up in there. I don't use Acid so I'm not exactly sure how to set the drivers live after they have dropped.
