Sonar 6 Producer Edition

Perhaps it's because I havn't upgraded to Sonar 7, but I have no program options in Session Drummer 2, therefore I basically cant use it. Any advise?

But didn't Session Drummer 2 come with 6 PE. I honestly can't remember at the moment. However, give me a bit and I'll try and open it in 6 PE and see what gives. I keep all the old versions installed just for this type of occasion.

I'll get back with ya on this.

I can't trace it back to when it installed but if the install was with 6 then the program files should reside in a folder as follows when you click the program switch on the SD2 view. Program Files-Cakewalk-Seesion Drummer 2-Contents-Programs.

If you installed them into a different directory then it should still have created the same string of folders. You will just have to locate them in whichever folder you specified. Or on which ever drive you specified.

And I did get it open and loading programs as well as individual instruments and midi files and kits in Sonar 6 PE.

Hi Keith

I realise you posted the bit about no programs in SD2 a while ago, but I've just come across this site..hopefully you've fixed the problem by now (and therefore my answer might help someone else) but if not here is what I did.

I had exactly the same problem. All I did was reinstall the the program, but only ticking the SD2 box (ie. the only thing to be installed). Solved the problem...Good luck.
