Hey sorry to be late on this.

CAD makes some killer mic's. I use a couple of their older Equitek E-100 mic's and love them. I wouldn't trade them off for anything.

Although this is a lower budget condenser it is a good mic at that price. It has a pretty well rounded sound for that price range. And at the price you are paying it would be a good deal for sure. From the littel I have used one it has a small dip in the lower mid's but that isn't a deal breaker by any means.

What are you planning to use it on if I might ask?

Hey! Thanks for the response... I ended up buying the CAD gxl2200 condenser today... I only used it real quick to make sure that it fully functioned... but sounded pretty good.

I will be using it for vocals and acoustic guitar for now....

I recorded a track of acoustic guitar today... sounded pretty good.

I also plan on (next pay) buying that 4 for $20 deal of Karma Audio K-Micros.

I got a really good deal on this CAD off of craigslist... I got a shockmount.. 25ft hosa mic cable, detachable boom tripod on-stage mic stand, and of course the condensor... all of this I got for $40.00 :)

I'm a bargin hunter lol... mainly coz im poor lol.

Well for the vocals and acoustic it should work a charm. Glad it works for ya.

And ya, the K-Micro's are a killer deal. And they sound great. Let us know how you like them and how you use them.

I've become a huge Karma fan from them and the new K6 active ribbon mic I just purchased from the. I haven't gotten to use it a whole lot yet, but did plug it in for a quick little bit and it is so smooth. My first thought is it sounds as good as a couple of much higher dollar ribbons I have used in the past.
