Hey all,

We are working on a new song (Future Mr. X) and it is a story about a mobster in the 1930's. I want to be able to put some spoken word stuff in.

I could use some help in coming up with the phrases/words to use.

Here is sort of an example;
*best gangster voice* "You really had it coming, see, now its your time to get wacked Mr X, see".
Anyhow, as you can see the above is kind of lame and that is why I'm turning to you guys for ideas.

Hit me up with your favorite "gangster" type lingo and such.

Cheers!

I always liked the "sleepin with the fishes" phrase...as opposed to "wacked"

"he rolled over", "he squaked like a chicken" something to imply he talked...

Five bones to the snot locker.... not old gangster at all, but a fun way of saying "punched him in the nose".

Watch "Once Upon A Time In America", an old DeNiro movie, for some good turn-of-the-century gangster action.

I love watching movies like those, now I have an excuse... cool. Actaully even Roger Rabbit might be a good source.

Thanks guys. I'll post up the new tune soon as we get it a bit further along.
