Jun 01, 2002 06:15 am Sure, there are TONS of them, just do a search on yahoo or something for free VST plugins, you'll find a bunch! VST is supposedly pretty easy to program and thus created a huge group of freeware programmer. Be wary though, if they are poorly programmed (which many are) they can do more dmamage to your sound than good. I can't tell you exactly where they are, but a 'net search will get them for you.

Jun 01, 2002 10:27 am Oh boy is dB right this time!
Go to Stienberg website. Right in there (somewhere, I find it everytime with little trouble) is a PLUG IN ZONE. There are three catgories of plug ins listed. For Purchase, Share, and free.
Sorry I can't guide you as to how good each are. I started by collecting a ton of them and then over time getting rid of them. hehehe They are repetitive. The free ones are good for learning which effect etc. gets used often and in my opinion worked well enough to help me decided which type of plug in I wanted to purchase.
