Every year a bunch of us get together for a jam session. I like to call it Beerhunter Studio's Toast and Jam and we have it between Christmas and New Years. Anyways, in my profile is a song called Bob's Blues. It pretty much sums up the evening.

Bob wails doesn't he? I'm gonna have to listen a few more times, but it sounds pretty jammy alright. Were is the wailen guitar that should be in there? Nice audience clapping and yelping in the background though at the end.

Nice dity though for sure.

Nice call on that one BH. Either way it is a cool jam for sure.

Ya it's kind of cool mood wise, not the best recording or performance but its fun to listen to again after a few years. It serves as a reminder of where we were at just a few years ago.

I still need to get at fixing up an old 2 track mix of some basement jams we did over 25 years ago. Just shot it direct to the tape off the mixer and it sounds kind of horrid. Everyone was bagged as well so that did not help any. I'll try and find some time to dig a couple of the not so hideous ones out and post em up.

I'd love to hear 'em if you can dig something up. I love that kind of stuff personally. Raw and in the moment. You can't (or should I say I can't) capture that feeling very easy in a studio performance.

Ya, I gotta agree. Even in the day of playing live in the studio all at once it most often didn't come off like the live sound of just letting the tape run while having some fun jamming.

I will find em shortly here. The other half wants me to go shopping with her tomorrow, so I'll be spending some quality time with her I guess.
