One of my favorite comics! He has a sold out show at a casino about two hours away...and I won tickets to it from the local classic rock radio station.

Cool. Congrats. I didn't even know he did standup. I would have thought those days have passed for him. He is in a lot of funny shows/movies and I bet he is pretty hilarious doing standup.

I loved that show with Chris Farley when they were selling auto parts (brake pads) door2door. hahaha, hilarious. Can't remember the name of it though.

Wasn't that Tommy Boy? My personal favorites movies of David Spade are Joe Dirt and PCU, if anyone hasn't seen PCU, ya gotta.

He doesn't do standup much, this is sort of a special tour, they are all selling out fast and I wanted to go but couldn't get tix...now I won 'em.

WooHoo! Now hunting for the last minutes babysitter, my wife thinks we got the kids a sleep-over at a house that they both have friends at...we will owe them for sure!

Throwing 100 lbs of burger down onto a protest of vegetarians was awesome! The few chicks that had retractable protest signs and a marker on them at all times...the "hippy-limpics" LOL

It was a great movie.

Then there was "fat, drunk and stupid is no way to go through life, son". That was either Tommy Boy or the "other" Spade/Farley movie Black Sheep.

Yeah, Bryce passed on the message, they read another bit of input of mine on the air I guess. They were talking about self defense during some crime story, I emailed some info to correct (or edit anyway) some info they gave that wasn't optimal, they shared it and sent me to David Spade.

It's at Grand Casino, Hinckley.

hehehe, yeah, I dunno, I love Spade, one of my favorite comedians, it's just a lousy time. I am soooo tired, it's been a mentally and physically draining week.

Great show, Todd Glass opened, he was on a season of Last Comic Standing. He had a short set, Spade was on for about an hour, maybe an hour and 15 minutes.

Great fun, his typically smarmy, a-hole type comment toward people, good topical political stuff, current events. Very good, if you can see him, I recommend it.

What the radio station didn't tell me, and we missed, was the VIP party which included a meet and greet with Spade.
