Ok...my instrumental ballad "A Greener Shade of Life" is complete and located on the members music page under instrumental. There is still a little mistake, and the guitar solo at the end sucks, but it was late and i couldnt walk straight and decided to settle for less : )
I have a few more songs coming, some of which will be on the independant concept album i am putting together, called "Too Many Shades of Green"

Jan 18, 2003 07:40 pm Hey dude, dB and I were just listenin to your track. Did you use a foam wind screen on your mic for the acoustic guitar, as it sounded quite muffled? nice arrangement, but I would definatly set the electronic music parts back in the mix much further then they are now. And then add some reverb to some of the track's to give them some depth and space. Now we are headed for beer's, with some friend's. And I would possibly take a little bit of a listen to some other patch choice's for a couple of the sound's you have, as the horn sound's were very over powering.
Peace,

Jan 19, 2003 12:01 am Actually i think it was more the place where the mic was micing the guitar that muffled it. i am going to mess around with the mic placement soon, redo it all. I may add another 4 bars to the guitar solo to climax it a bit more, too.
about the synth, yes i know, they overpower a little. Didnt tweak it enough. Also my good friend is going to put down an acoustic drum track too.
Stay tuned for another version! sigh
Thanks for the feedback
