does it have an expression pedal input?

if so, you're lookin' at about a $50 USD in a 'universal expression pedal' *i made that up* that simply has a 1/4" jack...you can get 'em used cheaper...i use one with my keyboard, it sends midi data aswell.

after a bit of research, i'm gonna say, sadly, your answer is no...if you're tech savy, you might be able to wire one in...but in all honesty, i think it's more trouble than it's worth....

have you looked into "tap-tempo" delay pedals? there's plenty of those to choose from.

You can with a lot of work hardwire in an expresion pedal into the regen/repeat and the Delay Time pots. This would require either using a bypass circuit to get the pedal into the circuit or actually removing the pots from the Johnson unit and placing them into the expression pedal in place of the existing pots. You could do only one or both depending on what you are looking to do. I have done this type of mod to other pedals and it is generally best to use the exact same pot for the job that is in the pedal.
