new tune i put together a while ago. been trying to polish it up and i'm pretty content with it, still just hard to get rid of that one thing that i can't put my finger on, that one thing that drives me nuts, and i dont even know what it is. im sure you all know what i'm talking about. sorry for the run on sentence.

the intro is very low-fi i know, it was meant as a test take but i liked how it sounded.
also, is the bass too loud on your end too? i'm having trouble making it punchy enough to come through but not be too boomy.

anyway, any feedback would be greatly appreciated.

There's a little background noise at the start. Like someone shifting in their seat or something.

Doesn't sound lo-fi to me! Sounds great in fact.

I like tunes like this. Very cool acoustic stuff.

Well played and nice tune.

Some very cool ambient effects throughout.

Not sure if it was just my speakers popping but there might be a cheeky clip or two.

All in all i like it.

Some brushes might have gone down well on the drums. (not they sounded bad at all)

Well the bass is pretty much just perfect here. Nice punch to it. I loved the guitar intro myself as well. Killer bends as Bleak stated. And indeed being a B3 lover the organ caught my ear right off. (even if it isn't a B3) I loved the synth sounds as well that came and went. The harmonica tone is killer as well. All very nicely put together. The drums I am curious about as well. They sound great and are nicely placed in the mix. Overall an extremely nice jam. I was wishing for it to go on for another 5 minutes or so.

thanks for the feedback and nice words guys. yeah that background noise at the start was annoying at first, but i liked the take. i thought about trying to edit it out but now i kind of like how it sounds. whether i actually do like it or i'm just lazy to do anything about it is beyond me.
noize i'm glad you were able to pick out that organ, i wasn't sure if it was clear enough. it is in fact a korg ms2000, which does a heck of a job on those great tones.
the drums are a midi pad control going through Kontakt, with a nice drum library i found. ive been trying to fancy the drum track up a bit, but i'm no drummer so it's tough. brushes are a great idea, i never even thought of em cause i don't have any samples.
i'd like to extend it, add a bridge or a different theme, something new, but it's difficult because i neglected to use a metronome or save any presets. hope i learned my lesson.
