Does anyone use a drum machine or drum tracks live? Right now I play my drum tracks via my iPod through my PA system and then sing and play guitar. I want to do this (as a one man band) live for shows a clubs but want to know what would be the best thing to play my drums track through at a club? Anyone do this and if so any suggestions?

May 04, 2007 10:56 am PA system would be my suggestion.... or bring your own personal rig.

May 04, 2007 10:09 pm Would I want a Speaker cable or Instument cable going from the iPod to the PA?
Peter
May 05, 2007 04:33 am stereo cable gooin' from the i pod to two channels on the mixer (paned hard left and right)
then out of the mixer via regular 'instrument' cables into a power amp...after power amp is when you use speaker cables (just remember speaker cables plug into speakers, they're designed to handle large amounts of power)....heh and to confuse you can use a speaker cable as a substitute for an instrument cable but not vice versa.
now if you have one of those 'PA in a box' type mixers, then use a stereo cable to it (two seperate inputs on the PA) then use speaker cable to the speakers as noted above.
