Apr 11, 2007 01:49 pm there are plugins out there that will do this. Waves makes one called ultra pitch (i think that's what it's called). Changes the pitch without changing the tempo. Not sure if there are others that do it, or how much they cost.

Apr 16, 2007 10:47 pm Sonar and Project 5 have them built in as onboard pluggins. There is also V-Vocal that come with Sonar 5 and Sonar 6 PE. Killer pluggin for not only pitch adjustment but pitch correction as well.

Apr 22, 2007 05:50 pm coolo, you can do it a couple different ways. I can't remember now of P5 installs with the effects labeled cakewalk or not. But on the left use the add FX button. Look for cakewalk and the sub menu should have a pitch shifter pluggin. Otherwise P5 effects section has the spectral transformer which is a kind of multi effect stacker and can do some very cool stuff. Anyway that has transpose and VOC transpose function, they work OK.
