M-Audio Delta 44 and Adobe Audition Problems

Hello this looks like the place to be to find an answer to this problem :) I have the Delta 44 installed, but when i record something using Adobe Audition it wont playback in full duplex when i try to record another track! However if i send the track to edit mode I can hear it play back? It's recording 'ok' though the end result is not the acoustic perfection i was led to believe it was, but again thats probably some setting. I have a dual condensor Behringer mic powered by an M-Audio Buddy that connects to the Delta 44 break box by 3/4 guitar lead. Thanks for reading.

The edit menu and the multitrack menu must be set for playback on the same soundcard that you are using to monitor, as they can be set individually.

Its been awhile since I've used AA but in version two there was a setting accessed off of the menu bar that said something "monitor always" or "monitor audition" or somehting like that. Anwyas, that may be the setting you are looking for.
