I am curantly using tracktion 2 and just bought a mac, this software does not jive with mac.I'm looking into new software. At this point in the game I'm just recording, not mixing.I was thinking about getting logic but after talking to someone about this he told me this is a very complicated program.I,m just a musician,I need something easy with alot of features,so later on down the road I could do it all myself(mixing and editing).Any suggestings?

Check out garageband that should have come with your mac, that'll get you cracking. It'll also lead you onto logic as there are some similarities. Logic is a little complex but to be honest most programs seem a little daunting at first.

You just described GarageBand.

When I switched to a Mac I started using GarageBand and I have been using it ever since. Use it until you outgrow it, then move on to bigger and better things.

Unless Tracktion works after all...
