Last summer i had the pleasure of recording Sometimenever, who some of you have heard, I know.
Anyway, they made a video of the making of the album which is probably the funniest film I'll see all year, which you can see here:

Jun 19, 2007 03:26 pm yeah, they seem like a silly group of guys....lotsa fun, i didn't spot you (but i wasn't lookin' until after i watched the vid)...the part when it cuts to the drums kicks AZZ! man that's a slammin' beat he drops. i wish there was more fottage of them actually recording though.
Jun 20, 2007 12:11 pm yeah, the drummer is just ridiculously good IMO. i think hteres quite abit of footage of the recording process, but this vid was just a bonus thing for their CD, so I think they went for a more entertaining route rather than throwing in too much of the geeky stuff (which I wouldve liked too)

Jun 20, 2007 10:42 pm Ya, I did watch it and forgot to come back and post. I gotta watch it again though to refresh me memory though. I did however pick you at the desk. But was there a shot of you on the couch as well all stretched out with your feet on the floor in the early section of the vid?
I gotta watch it again. Tuna will be here tomorrow and I'll make him watch it as well for some fun. I remember wondering if you did the opening theme music during the James coming back part.

The music in the 'horror scenes' wasnt me, i think its just some stock audio, but i did operate the smoke machine when the zombie James walks past the window! I'm such a star
Jun 21, 2007 05:26 pm Sweet, I thought that was you. I had to slip it back a couple of times to make sure though. And ya, the smoke effect works great. I love that lone short pitchfork standing out there as he comes outa the woods or whatever. Then he grabs it and limps off into the night.
I think it works great to show just the band messing about a little bit. More playing would have been cool but the stuff in there is interesting for sure. I will be watching it closer tonight after I drop Tuna off at his grand's house for the night.

Jun 22, 2007 10:44 pm Na, bore away. You know how I can get when I get started on that stuff. Aside for that they are dang good. I've been to their myspace an listened a few times. AT one point I could not remember who they were. I think they sent a friend request and I asked em if they know you. OF course it was you who sent em there in the end I think if I remember correctly.
