Got kind of a touch of Daft Punk to it. Who is the original artist? The Daft Punk reference is to heavy use of the vocoder and the drum mix. Nice use of some distorted sounds and the start stop clamping of the samples is pretty good. There are a couple of misses on timing here and there but overall it is pretty good.

I'll give it a little better listen later tonight and feed ya some more info on what I think.

yeah, some of it is kinda glitchy, but i like the mix, and i like it when you have some intstruments going, but parts of it are sparse, like the vocals don't really sound good by themselves to me, they sound better when they have a whole bunch of synths hitting behind them. That's just my input.

And wow, there's a blast from the past...^^^

jues!!!!! Where the hell have you been the last couple of years?? I am guessing you might have something to do with it, correct? Seeing that its based in the UK I will assume you are tied to it somehow.

Are you still playing at all?

Anyway, back to the remix. I do like it, especially the use of the organ tone, nice and gritty like my old B3. I do like the beat, just enough grit to make it stand up on its own oven behind the gritty synth tones. I personally would like to hear a little bit harder bass line driving when it comes in. That might help the parts that coolo is talking about the vocal not sounding too good on its own. But as stated above I like the use of the vocoder, it might seem a little over the top to some, but I do like it. Its indeed a dance able tune as is.

So jues, how do I get into the remix set up at u-myx? And whatever happened to flipcycle? The boyz and I still listen to your stuff.
