How do I get my midi controller to trigger my mp3 files. I am now using garage band. I have looked up all types of freeware and shareware but dont have a clue where to start.

Mar 11, 2007 01:09 am Sounds like you need a sampler (hardwear or software) that can playback MP3s.

Mar 16, 2007 07:07 pm Ya, mp3 files are not something commonly loaded as sample files. IF they are loops I suggest using your DAW software to convert them into wav files to be used in a drag and drop manner for creating longer loop sections. If they are single hit instrument type sound then as well you may want to convert them to wav files and hit up KVR to find a software sample playback unit or sampler.
