Not bad dudes, I'm more of an old metal man vs. hardcore but you have the genre down. Mix is pretty good, I think the heavier types of music need loads of drum work and should be pretty kick heavy.

Mar 04, 2007 02:51 pm Yep, the drums are a huge part of this style of music. I would say you need to work on the capture and EQ as well as placement/panning of the drums to start with. The bass needs to be much more present and heavy sounding, compresion will help there. The guitars tone is sounding pretty good there so that is a plus. I would however try not panning them so hard to the left and the right as it leaves a huge hole in the middle of the mix.
This type of music does not really need much reverb at all, but a tiny bit will help settle things into place in the mix. The tune itself is very good and just really needs a tiny bit of TLC in the mixng end to get it really sounding great.
