Sonar 2 Routing Question

Hey peeps,

I'm getting to grips with Sonar 2, but one thing is really bugging me...

I use 3 M-audio Delta 410's connected to my MX3282a mixing console - The problem is that Sonar seems to only adress my audio hardware in pairs - this is not exactly what I am after, obviously.

Is there any way that I can make Sonar address my hardware as individual MONO out's.

If not, is there any solution other than hard panning tracks left and right in order to acess 1 & 2 (etc) resepectivly?

Cheers for any helps.

Sorry dude, I don't have any miracle solutions, but Noize2u may, he is the resident Cakewalk user, but is currently installing WIndows XP, so he may be offline for a little bit...hopefully he can come back today sometime and help ya out...

I do however use M-Audio as well, and asside from hard panning I don't think there is a way to seperate them...

Mmmmm....

The only problem with hard panning is that it tends to boost the value of the signal by a few dB thanks to the panning law (or something like that ;)

It's a shame you can't address the outputs as stereo pairs AND individual mono outs.

Oh well... :D

Don't take what I said as gospel truth, I may be wrong...I use the AUdiophile 2496, which is primarily a mastering card, so it would make sense they are used in pair. I believe the Delta 440 and up are the same way, but I might be wrong...you are right tho, it would be nice to be able to, I know in the Echo Audio cards you can access them one by one.

I use the Delta 44 with Sonar and it lists each input as a seperate mono track. It lists them as stereo pairs as well if you want to record in stereo. I don't know why you're having trouble with it on your computer. My only problem is that I can't have the output on Sonar routed to two stereo paired outs at once. I don't know if this is normal, but I hope I can do something about it...

Oh... I just realized you're talking about outputs, not inputs. It doesn't seperate those for me, either.
