Im using a Mac running Pro-tools. When recorded i selected the pc/mac compatible and recorded em as .wav format. I took the files and then burnt em to disc using the option data.
From that point i took it out put it back in my cd drive and my comp was able to read the disc.
I gave the cds to a different guy so he could mix the tracks. He said that he put em in to 2 different comps (PC'S) and neither were able to read.
Any suggestions?

Feb 07, 2007 09:28 pm if mac does one thing badly it's cross compatability...

Feb 07, 2007 09:46 pm ehh... well at least they didn't reintroduce a bug then :)
10.2.1 introduces 'actual' CD burning compatability
if 9.1 supports FAT filesystems you'er best bet would be to get an external hard drive formatted as FAT32...and that 'should' work...
If all else fails make it a mac HFS(?) filesystem and find a windows HFS reader... I know there's HFS+ readers that have free 30 day demos...
The external FAT32 hard drive should work though...
