Cubase SE export problem

First off, I'm new here so hello to you all!

I'm a bit of a noob to Cubase, so bear with me. I've created a project with both MIDI and audio files and I want to export them to a format which I can burn to a CD. However, when I exported it as a .wav file, only the audio tracks had been exported. Will I have to export the MIDI tracks as a MIDI file and then layer the two files or is there something obvious I'm missing here?

Any help is appreciated.

Although I can't remember the directions off the top of my head, in Cubase you have to first convert the MIDI tracks into audio tracks. Then they'll export with the rest of the project upon mixdown.

There should be some instructions somewhere in the documentation about how to convert MIDI tracks to audio tracks, but I can't remember how off hand.

I figured it out, all I needed to do was connect the output from my keyboard to the mic in on my PC and record to an audio track.

Cheers for the advice.
