dont know if this is a gear type question... sorry if its not.
Anyhow, i want to find a super DIY plan to building a vocal booth in my bedroom. I only need it to house one person standing up (me) Im thinking it should be like a stall, that i can erect middle of my room not touching the ceiling. Ill run some lights in there along my mic and headphone amp. I want it to be as sound proof as possible, because i live in a typical house with tons of neighbours, and my vocals r alot of screaming and high notes, so should i make the walls of it pretty thick? does anyone have maybe a design for what materisl to use and how to put them together. I want mostly stuff that i could buy at the local hardware store, and also the actualy inside singing area, should i give it any kind of acoustic treatment to better suit vocals? dimensions and materials on the walls?

any and all suggestions welcome.

crux, if I get a little time I'll find a link to a DIY one I found a couple of years ago. It is pretty much what you are looking for. All material available at most hardware stores.
