My cousin came over today and brought her son, who is like 4 years old, and we spent the day making my house into a giant blanket fort. I forgot how much fun those things are. I still havent taken it down yet.

Dec 26, 2006 05:43 pm Yep, mine are a little old for that as well now. But when they were younger I sure got into it with them. Although as an adult I do remember playing blanket something with that girl in Atlanta while on tour in 78. Oh wait, thats differant isn't it???
Dec 27, 2006 03:45 am Ok,if we're talking blanket confessions! One summer(late 60s) we did an outside gig in the gardens of a country pub. Everybody got wasted on cider and the band couldn't pack up the gear and said 'f it' we'll kip in the van.I was the baby of the band (17) but decided to cover the gear with tarpolin in case it rained,(it did)and stay with it.I slept between two quilts that we used to cover the Hammond with. What the band missed out on was the two girls that also took cover and were very friendly:)
