Sampler plugin

I'm looking for a freeware sampler plugin that will let me load in a lot of distinct samples and assign each different sample to it's own midi note, kind of like a drum sampler but without a lot of complexity and features. It does not need to be able to play a sample faster or slower on higher notes, each note should be it's own sample, like I said, like a drum sampler.

I'm trying to build a performance instrument. This will not be used for drum sounds, but maybe whole songs on a single midi note, or more accurately maybe a whole section of a song like a whole verse or chours or bridge.

I'll be triggering it with drum triggers. It does not even need to be velocity sensitive, it just needs to be able to take a lot of different samples all on their own midi notes.
