Hiya,
I have have recently got myself an intel macbook and instantly realised that there are software problems, my version of Cubase LE (Came with my Lexicon Omega) won't run and Reason 3 doesn't run on it either, well it does but hardly at all... it says computer is too slow...i assume thats all to do with the intel. im downloading the update for Cubase as we speak that the Lexicon support provided, but does anyone know what update i need to get for reason to run?
Cheers.

Nov 15, 2006 10:42 am make sure what you get are "Universal Binary" versions so they are compatible with the new architecture of the intel processor

Nov 15, 2006 11:14 am from what i understand there's 3 versions of software for macs now... the old power processor versions, some intel only versions, and the universal binaries that can be used on either.
There's a feature in the new intel macs called Rosetta, which is a shell that allows the power processor apps to run, but with demanding audio software it is too slow. seems like this is what you're running into.
