Nov 06, 2006 05:15 pm My rule this year is: anybody that contributes to cramming my mailbox full of wasteful paper fliers that do nothing but speak ill of other candidates are automatically ruled out for my vote. Which pretty much rules out everybody in our area.
I hate election time...it completely ruins my faith in politics. Nobody actually cares about the issues, only about making the other guy look like more of a douchebag than you.
Luckily with Tivo, we get to skip all of the silly campaign commercials. That alone has made Tivo pay for itself.
