Oct 29, 2006 08:11 pm Do you have any pluggins running while you are recording? Have you accidently drawn in some automation for volume envelopes or anything?
Software does not normally do that type of thing on its own, it usually takes some user interaction to create that type of anomaly. It is possible though that your hardware might be having some issues that are coming into play.
You dont say what you are using for your soundcard, that might help to know that. And then we can direct you better to look into settings and such.
