i have a firepod running through cubase se3 and in device setup it only reads the front eight line in's and mic preamps, it doesnt read the back to line in's. anyone know why?

The line inputs on the back or just doubled inputs of the front 2 inputs numbered 1 and 2. You would have to not plug anything in to the front in order for them to be used. And as well I believe you need to select which set you are using in the software control panel.
