I've got both, but FL fruity edition, not the hi end package, so I can't record in FL.

But i'd say your sample rates are not set correctly. For some reason, it's recording at, say, 44.1khz, but playing back at 48khz. I'd look at something along those lines.

Something recorded at 44.1k times per second, will sound fast, if played at 48k times per second. ( i think that's right )

Be sure both control panels (US122 and FL) have the exact same bit depth, sample rates, etc.

hth.

Also, I think the US122 tops out at 48khz, so if you're trying to record at higher than that, then you may run into problems.

me either. it's kinda hard to troubleshoot without hearing / seeing it happen.

Maybe switch both to 48khz, and maybe that'll change something.

If what you're hearing back, is behind the beat, but is at the same tempo (bpm), then maybe it's latency you're encountering. You may be able to increase the latency in FL to compensate.

like mentioned, i don't record in FL, so I've never had to do this. I'm not sure if it would work or not, but it may be the issue.

I have both.

I never record IN Fl Studio cause the time will usually be off. If you can EXPORT the beat your using for timing into a MP3, find a program like Sonar or Adobe Audition to track the guitar/keyboard.

hahaha I do this all the time.
