Anyone know how I would use this compressor to duck? Yamaha GC2020B II Compressor
Also, can I side chain with that?

Actually I'm not familiar with the term 'ducking' in the context of compressors.
Aug 24, 2006 03:06 pm if it's got a sidechain input and output then yes you can use it...check the back pannel...it'll say "sidechain".

Aug 24, 2006 06:03 pm Loki, with the age of that unit I am not sure it had a side chain on it. It was one of their pretty straight units meant for PA use and not recording. WE used 3 of them in an older rack we had ages ago.
But it is a good comp for the right price.
