vs1680 locked faders

The faders on my Roland VS1680 are somehow locked. I can adjust the values manually with the TIME-wheel. I suppose there is a kind of lock: there is a * mark besides the fader values in the menues. And the device shows the actual fader position but just doesn't adjust the corresponding track volume (the same applies to the master and monitor faders).

I'm sure this is a very easy thing but I don't have a clue... Can anybody help?

ick! man i sold my 1680 about 8 months ago, i've never had that kinda problem.....i'm gonna guess you took a "snapshot" or some kind of "automation" where everything is set.....

does it do this even when you create a new project? it definately sounds like a software issue, so i'm sure it's fixable....maybe try the roland forums.
