Jul 19, 2006 09:30 pm What kind of budget do you have? There are many choices out there from the very budget minded to the extremely not budget minded. And there are differances between them as well.
I am guessing you will need something with an 8 buss architecture, but maybe you could get buy with a 4 buss.

Jul 20, 2006 08:54 am You can go the route I went, using a yamaha MG mixer, and using the insert points to tap signal out. It works like direct outs on other boards. Though probably, the higher boards will have direct outs on them as well.
The MG series has a 24ch, and a 32ch, both with 14 bus.
Either way, like loki said, you'll need an interface, or interfaces that will capture as many signals as you need.
Maudio Delta cards can be stacked, up to 4 I think. So 2 1010 (or 1010lt) would give you 16 analog inputs. Plus 2 more if you're using spdif input.
I think the ESI ESP1010 can be stacked as well.
