I HAVE A LEXICON OMEGA INTERFACE AND I WANT TO USE MY KORG TRITON AS A MIDI CONTROLLER ON MY FL STUDIO 6. IS IT POSSIBLE TO DO THIS? IF SO? HOW DO I DO IT? I AM NEW AS FAR AS ALL THE HARDWARE GOES...ANY HELP APPRECIATED.

Jul 11, 2006 02:14 pm welcome to HRC.
should be possible. plug a midi cable from triton midi out, into the omega midi in.
in FlSt6, tell it that the midi input is the omega. Then just activate the synth or soundfont you want, and it should start playing.
I did this with my juno-d and it worked pretty easily, so it should for you too.
I did notice there was about a 1/4 to 1/2 second lag when playing this way. It was kinda nerve-racking after awhile. Hopefully yours does not do this.
And please turn off the cap lock, it's like you're shouting all the time !
Good luck.
