Instant Messaging in the 21st Century

I just order the Pro version of Trillian. For those of you who don't know, it's a Instant Messenger that integrates AIM, ICQ, MSN, IRC and Yahoo! pager into one app, super cool for a multi-IM world. There is a free version as well.

I just ordered the Pro version ($25) and it rocks, it does everything the old one does plus has plugins that integrate with WinAmp, checks POP3 emails, stocks, news, weather, read emails aloud, and TONS of other stuff, and of course the plugins are all free...IT ROCKS!

The free version just does the Multi-IM functions plus checks any email address associated with the IM (such as hotmail for MSN, AOL for AIM and Yahoo for the Yahoo pager). I have used the free one for about a year. They just released the Pro version a few weeks ago and it is great.

This is no affiliate program, it gives us no commission or anything, I just thinkit rocks so I am sharing the info. Besides, I am also thinking about setting up an IRC channel for HRC...jury is still out on that though.

I am however in the process of making a dB Masters skin for Trillian :-)
