HEY,
I just ordered the Blue Baby Bottle and now I'm wondering what would be the perfect preamp for it between $300-$700?? so far I'm leaning towards the M-Audio Tampa.

May 11, 2006 09:48 pm I havent actually listened to a Tampa yet, but they have gotten some mixed reviews. Mostly good though so that is a point up for it.

I like the Focusrite and Presonus stuff for the price.

May 12, 2006 04:16 pm I highly reccomend a grace model 101. I love mine. Clean, with no real coloration. Solid state. Tube pres will give a unique coloration to the sound. That may or may not be what you're looking for. I personally like the super cleanness. Cost is around $600...

May 12, 2006 10:37 pm ya I'm actually thinking of gettin the ART pro channel now, considering reviews for the tampa arent always the best, but The Grace 101 got amazing reviews aswell as the Pro channel, Guess I'll look more into that and see if its worth the extra cash. ;-)

May 12, 2006 11:15 pm For the money there is a huge differance between the ART and the Grace units. The grace can be had for about $545.00 at a couple of places these days.
And it is a very smooth clean pre as well.
