advice on a good vocal preamp...

for under 400?? or maybe a heads up on good used pre that falls in that price range?

i'm basically looking to add warmth to my vocals. currently using a Roland VS 880 to track vox. will be (re)upgrading to a mac soon.

There is a wide price range covered here.

AS for a used one, try looking on ebay, you will find something as there are always tons for sale there.

But I would have a look through the page above and see what might catch your interest.
